DevOpsDays is a technical conference, aimed at developers, sysadmins and anyone else involved in technology, whether expert or beginner. The person behind the idea of DevOps is Patrick Debois, who came up with this method of improving the code and cooperation.
The term "DevOps" was popularized thanks to a series of "DevOpsDays" conferences. The first edition of this Conference was held in Belgium in 2009. Since then, DevOpsDays conferences have spread across the globe. All conferences run on a similar formula and are divided into three elements:

Chris Van Tuin, Chief Technologist for the Western US at Red Hat, has over 20 years of experience in IT and Software. Since joining Red Hat in 2005, Chris has been architecting solutions for strategic customers and partners with a focus on emerging technologies including IaaS, PaaS, and DevOps. He started his career at Intel in IT and Managed Hosting followed by leadership roles in services and sales engineering at Loudcloud and Linux startups. Chris holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Iago brought his relaxed Spanish demeanor to Berlin a few years back. Since then, he’s been diving and swimming around the internals of various Linux flavors; Android, embedded and Cloud. Although he once got distracted by functional programming, his daily tasks see him working mainly in Go and C.
Before joining AWS, Julien served for 10 years as CTO/VP Engineering in top-tier web startups. Thus, he’s particularly interested in all things architecture, deployment, performance, scalability and data. As a Principal Technical Evangelist, Julien speaks very frequently at conferences and technical workshops, where he meets developers and enterprises to help them bring their ideas to life thanks to the Amazon Web Services infrastructure.
Has been using Linux since 1994, Gentoo & Linux From Scratch Fan, author of first Php & MySQL book written in Turkish published in 2001. Later he has moved to New York City, worked as Director of IT Operations in Wall Street for over 12 years. After returning back to his homeland Turkey, he has founded BilgiO IT Security and Internet Operations, helping Top 500 companies across Turkey with their IT Security and Open Source needs. He is a frequent speaker at Open Source conferences, father of two and a devoted Istanbul admirer.
Serhat Dirik is an IT Professional with more than 20 years’ experience in enterprise IT strategies, solutions design and development. Serhat is an open source advocate and inventor of some Open Source projects . He led countless IT projects in large enterprises to modernize their applications and infrastructures. He's currently working as Senior Solution Architect in Red Hat as responsible from Paas, Middleware and Mobile solution stacks.
Stefano Rago joined the agile42 team in 2010 and he has been growing his agile skills as a scrum team member ever since. The main technical aspects he has been focusing on include continuous integration and delivery, test driven development and refactoring.
Quentin ADAM is the CEO of Clever Cloud: an IT automation company, running a Platform as a Service allowing you to run java, scala, ruby, node.js, php, python or go applications, with auto scaling and auto healing features. This position allow him to study lots of applications, code, practice, and extract some talks and advises. Regular speaker at various tech conference, he’s focused to help developers to deliver quickly and happily good applications.
Berk Dülger is an IT Professional worked as a pure developer, software development engineer in test, consultant, account manager and DevOps practitioner. He had many experiences in international and local projects in telecommunication, media, e-commerce, retail, insurance and banking sectors. Currently, leading more than twenty engineers in four different projects. Berk believes that total quality improvement can be achieved only with focus on both managerial and engineering agility. Thus, very excited with the DevOps movement in last few years. He is using DevOps/Continuous Delivery practices in industrial area, and also academic researches for Master’s Thesis in Industrial Engineering Department.
Cagdas Senol is a Software Engineer with a DevOps mindset. He loves functional programming, search and recommendation systems and infrastructure management

I am holding a BA Computer Engineering from Galatasaray University, M.Sc. System and Control Engineering from Bogazici University and MBA from Heriot-Watt University. Seçil KAVAS is a BA Manager at OBSS, the one of the biggest IT consulting firm in Turkey. She is especially specialized in banking related projects. Seçil received her Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and her Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at İstanbul Technical University. During her education, she has focused on "decision making" and "optimization" fields. After her short time works in software, systems management and marketing fields, she decided to start her professional career in business analysis field that suits best for her. She took different positions in banking related projects as a business analyst, tester, process designer and project manager. Since June 2015, Seçil and her team provide business analysis consultancy services to Yapı Kredi Bank, which is the member of UniCredit Group, to reinforce their processes in order to provide better user experiences.
